U2tourfans.com and twitter.com/u2tourfans has gathered the following updates

Here’s video from the opening song. Here’s a cool Flickr photo. And here’s U2tour.de, apparently literally under the bridge. And here’s the prettiest Claw photo yet, if you ask me.

Here’s another YouTube video from the concert. And here’s another video. And here’s another great Twitter photo of The Claw.

U2 has done a live linkup to the International Space Station in the middle of the concert, talking to the astronauts,

Bono on screen. The Claw looks gorgeous all lit up. And check this out! More pics: Gorgeous. And another one. And this one. And here’s just one more. And here’s Bono & Edge amongst the faithful.

Larry on the catwalk, playing a bongo drum that’s wrapped around his shoulders. Here’s Adam and Edge. And here’s some sing-along video, lasts about 30 seconds. And, sit down for this, there was a chorus line of people walking on stage with the Aung San Suu Kyi masks.

11:35 pm BCN time, U2’s main set ended.

The “red heaven” (for that awesome song from Joshua Tree that we won’t name since it’s a spoiler) is back!!!!! (Here’s the red video to prove it!) Here’s a pretty pic of the stage from a low angle. Here’s Bono wearing an FC Barcelona shirt.

U2’s first encore ended at about 11:55 pm BCN time.

Anticipation and Speculation Intensify as U2 Rehearses for Opening Night

Earlier Edge told Rolling stone a while back that U2 may bring  back some songs that they have not played for a long time. How about “Drowning Man”(WAR) which was never featured live. However most of you have seen the live set photo. We know that at least in rehearsals it has been played. So many other gems may make thier appearance this time around that this could be the concert of the year or at least the promoters are hoping the punters show up in full pockets ready to release $25.00 US dollars for that must have T shirt.

The opening night of U2 360 in Barcelona on June 30, 2009 will take place during the afternoon in the United States.U2tourfans.com will be posting reviews, videos, comments, photos as well the many other shows throught the tour. We still have plans for a select few reporters said U2tourfans ower, all they have asked is that you provide your contact info before the show.
